#PrematurityAwarnessMonth Our personal journey with Extreme Preterm baby #Part6 I am thankful to each one who travelled in my hard journey.    NICU Doctors Binu Sir & Team- Who gave their  heart and soul for my baby recovery. Who patiently replied to all our queries all time 24*7 till he turned one yr. Gynecologist Dhanalakshmi Mam & Team - First 28 days after my delivery,  when I suffered a lot because of severe vaginal infections, I cannt able to sit, stand & walk because of severe unbearable pain. But I must be active & alert all through the day & night for my child at NICU and outside NICU room.Oh my goodness,  she took care of me like her own daughter in hospital by giving more positivity to travel forward. I never forget that in my life🥰 Pediatrician Udhayakumar Sir & Team - For never ending lovable support till now. Surgeon Bala Sir & Team - When my son at 1.5 kg weight(45 days old baby) undergone surgery done by you,  still it is a great gratitude

 #PrematurityBirthAwareness  Our personal journey - Part 5 It was a beautiful day " after 30 days of his birth ," Yes finally for first time I got a chance to hold my son in my hand after he came out of ventilator support. 30 days was such a long worried wait for a mother to hold the little one..Am I right??? My little boy wore his first ever dress when he was at mom hand for first time🥰 Such a special moment to capture -(first time holding by mom with his first dress and a first click with mom). Check below pic for that memorable moment of me. I smiled a bit after 30 days. Then all treatment continued, as I said before at his " 1.5 kg" he undergone bilateral hernia surgery at his 45 th day after birth .. His heart problem PDA related treatment got failed in total of 3 attempts. Do ctor told any time it may get resolved. If not we have to do surgery at certain age (5 or 6) to resolve it. #PrematurityAwarenssMonth Our Personal Journey - Part 4 I got shifted to normal ward. Met doctor but not baby. Doctor told we have to wait for 7 days to get confirmation whether my baby will be alive or not for sure with medical complications. OMG 7 days. It was like 7 yrs for us as parent. After a day of delivery, I was allowed to meet my baby. 24 hrs was like 24 yrs for me. Baby was at ventilator and incubator support immediately after birth.It took 7 days to touch my baby with my one finger inside incubator. How hard it is for a mother to wait for 7 days to touch her baby that too with " only a finger touch "?????( I always had dream of holding my baby immediately after birth like how all mothers usually do after delivery. But all my mother dream went away in air.)He had major Infections.So even mother not allowed to touch him / handle him for his safety till major injections wiped away. We took all precautions each time to enter into NICU ward to see baby. In Doctors list

#PrematurityBirthAwarenessMonth Our personal journey -  Part 3 Nov 1,2015 one fine Sunday. Due to over medications there was no space at my stomach even to eat lunch. But Amma's tasty preparation How can I miss? Stomach felt heavy. Went to bed. After few mins my water bag(pani kudam) got broken. My mom,hubby and me was in shock. Too soon water broken. PrematurityBirthAwarenessMonth Our personal journey - Part2 We stepped into the much awaited 7th month of pregnancy. Day one of 7th mnth. From morning, I felt more discomfort that was not usual. Abdomen felt heavy with then n there pain. As usual no elder at home to check me in person. I called my Amma and explained. She thought it was normal discomfort because no clue about what was I going through. I did cooking as usual with that pain.Did Veg Briyani that day.
